A hand-built offset electric from Uberfrank, finished in Light Butterscotch Blonde with a 1970s floral tea tray pickguard. Serial #26-033, built April 2026.
Overview
Built by Uberfrank Custom Guitars, this Spellbinder sits at the more characterful end of their range. The combination of the Butterscotch Blonde nitro finish, laburnum fingerboard and floral pickguard makes it a genuinely distinctive build, but the choices are grounded in tone and feel rather than novelty. Bare Knuckle Blue Note P90s are a serious pickup choice, and the overall specification rewards players who know what they want.

Tone and Feel
Sassafras is a lightweight, lively tonewood with natural snap and note definition. Paired with Bare Knuckle Blue Note P90s, expect a full, punchy voice with strong mids and a top end that cuts without harshness. The laburnum board adds a subtle tonal brightness and has a playing feel close to a well-seasoned rosewood. A straightforward 3-way toggle keeps the controls honest. This is a guitar that rewards being played hard.
