This is my MD model which is a nice size, larger than a parlour, but not quite a dreadnaught or Jumbo. Huge room-filling chunk, absolutely made for fleshing out a mix or accompanying a voice. It’s a more than capable fingerstyle guitar that sings particularly sweetly in DADGAD, but it also enjoys a spell of strumming with the greater headroom afforded by the larger body. This Bog Oak showcases a lovely natural fade from tan to black a result of the ageing process while the Oak was submerged for many thousands of years as the tannins in the Oak reacted with the iron content in the bog magically transforming the greenish oak to the colours you see here.
