About the Brewery

Deya Brewing Company is an independent brewery founded in 2015 by Theo Freyne in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. What started as a home-brew kit grew, via a Masters in Brewing and Distilling at Heriot-Watt University and an internship at Colorado's Odell Brewery, into one of the most respected names in modern British brewing.

Freyne opened Deya's first taproom in 2018, followed by a larger second site on Cheltenham's Lansdown Industrial Estate the following year. The brewery has built its reputation on freshness and clarity of flavour and aroma — values that run through everything from their flagship pale ale, Steady Rolling Man, to their wider range of hazy IPAs and mixed-fermentation beers.

Deya's beers are prized for a soft, juicy hop character balanced by real technical precision, and the brewery is now regarded as one of the benchmarks for UK hop-forward brewing.
